Patient and Resident Success

To the nurses and all the staff who looked after my mother Jessie:

Almost two years ago, my mother became a resident at the Bremen Health Care Center. Naturally, my visits became a weekly part of my life's schedule. It wasn't particularly a new venture to me as my dad had lived there previously as well as my sister before him. Both lived there until the Lord, in His mercy, took them home to be with Him. I was very familiar with the basic routines and operations of the facility, but it was never a visit I looked forward to. Because my visits were so frequent with Mom, it didn't take long to get acquainted with the nurses and members of the staff, thus first names became comfortable and natural. It took no time at all to witness the superior nursing abilities that were exhibited to the residents placed under your care. It was gratifying to witness over and over patience, compassion and wonderful senses of humor in the personalities of caregivers on all levels. I never once asked for help or directives that were turned down by anyone even if that person didn't happen to be appointed to my mother that specific time. To me, in my heart, you all became an extended part of my life and family, which made most visits pleasant and removed the stigma of grief I often felt when I headed that way. How does one say thanks enough for such support, dedication and service?

I will, indeed, miss those of you who became "favorites” and cherish and remember with deep gratitude those whom I didn't get to know that well but knew you were an integral part of keeping Mom well, safe and comfortable.

I humbly thank you all and pray God will bless you in marvelous and miraculous ways.

Sincerely,

Nancy
